In the advent of multiple traditional courses available for the students at the University level, there was a need for some professional course. As the corporate and industries needed human resources to take up the responsibility of leading the organization successfully. There was a need for quality candidates who have got the blend business acumen to solve the problem arising in the corporate world.

As a result of which, University accepted and agreed for the introduction of MBA courses with good number of specializations. It was opined that those courses would bridge the gap between the industry and academia. The need which was felt resulted in the introduction of Management Education in the form of MBA programme.

G.T. Education Trust felt the need very apt and brought in the MBA course to its fold to give quality management education to the aspirants. By taking due permission for AICTE and Bangalore University, MBA course was commenced in the year 2009.

The legacy of MBA Department goes back one decade of successfully imparting business education to the students at global standards. MBA Department started its journey in the year 2009 with a humble beginning and intake of 60 students. Today after 10 years of progressively running the department we are overjoyed to fill the total intake of 120 students. The flow of candidates comes from both Government and Management quotes. The blend of urban, semi-urban and mofussil area students give the initiated joy to the learning environment. The learning pedagogy mixed with research activities in the department gives a holistic approach to management education.

The guest lectures from top industries, novice institutions and academic completes the learning curve and enables the students to acquire the desired and essential business acumen and keep them updated on the current happenings in trade, industry, business and commerce.

The programme comprises of 4 Semesters. This programme aims at building managerial competence with a blend of theoretical foundation in Management and practical cases that enhance students to perform as effective managers and enable them shoulder greater responsibilities in the future as they move up the hierarchy. Office bearers of industry assessments viz.. SSI, MSI, FKCCI, CII, NIPM are invited to have  discussions on various economic & financial policies of central & state governments.
